Government Affairs & Contracts – The Government Affairs and Contracts Committee shall review and recommend policies regarding contracts and other intergovernmental relations. The committee chair shall be appointed by the President of TADRO.

Membership Committee - The Membership Committee shall promote and develop membership in the organization, consider and advocate membership affairs and activities and be responsible to develop the benefits of membership. The Committee Chair shall be the Vice-President of TADRO.

Budget & Finance Committee - The Budget and Finance Committee shall recommend financial policies and an annual budget. The Annual Budget shall be presented by the committee to the Board as Directed by the President at the Annual Conference upon the election of the President but in no event more than
90 days following the date of the election of the Board. The Annual Budget will include the Executive Committee discretionary authority at Article XII, Section V of the TADRO By-Laws. The Treasurer shall chair the Budget and Finance Committee.

Nominating Committee – There shall be a Nominating Committee appointed by the President not later than 60 days preceding the annual conference each year, beginning 2003. The Nominating Committee shall consist of 3 members of the Board of Directors and the President elect shall Chair the Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee shall make and report nominations to all vacancies on the Board of Directors and Officers for election at the annual conference. There shall be no restriction to nominations from the floor other than those put forth by the Nominating Committee.

Scholarship Committee – Each year the TADRO Board of Directors offers financial scholarships to Counties and individuals for the annual training conference. The committee distributes and processes scholarship applications. Committee notifies the President of the applications and gains approval.

Executive Committee - For purpose of expediting action, communication, and response to issues, there will be an Executive Committee. The Executive Committee will be composed of the President, President-elect, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Immediate Past-President. The President shall Chair the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee will meet on the call of the President. Any other 3 members of the Executive Committee can call a meeting of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee shall serve as the planning committee of the Board. The Executive Committee may commit expenditures up to $250 per transaction and $1000 per year without board approval or ratification.

Web Site Committee - Periodically reviews TADRO web site and makes recommendations for additions, deletions, and changes in order to inform members, and the general public.

Office of the Attorney General – County Work Group
Texas Family Code, Section 231.012 Child Support Work Group.
(a) The director of the Title IV-D agency may convene a work group representing public and private entities with an interest in child support enforcement in this state to work with the director in developing strategies to improve child support enforcement in this state.
(b) The director of the title IV-D agency shall appoint the members of the work group after consulting with the appropriate public and private entities.
(c) The work group shall meet as convened by the director of the Title IV-D agency and consult with the director on matters relating to child support enforcement in this state, including the delivery of Title IV-D services.
(d) A work group member or the member’s designee may not receive compensation but is entitled to reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred in performing the member’s duties under this section.
(e) The work group is not an advisory committee as defined by Section 2110.001, Government Code. Chapter 2110, Government code, does not apply to the work group.
